Additional Information Regarding Sonic Mole Chaser Mole Repellents
We all like spending time outside in the garden. We are not fond however of vermin spoiling the fun. Ultrasonic devices, electronic yard fences and strobe lights – these are the technology at present that helps us eradicate these annoying pests in a safer way. No need to worry of getting caught in your own trap, or being poisoned by the pesticide or chemical that you placed because there is no more use for that now. Kids and old people alike can freely go around the garden because it is safe, and likewise animals that do not create trouble can also visit the garden.
These devices will help you eliminate unwelcome guests. Gophers, moles, squirrels, deer, cats, dogs and other animals that are not welcome will stay away and your conscience is clean because you haven’t hurt anyone at all. The ears of the animals will hear a high frequency sound or vibration coming from the ultrasonic devices. Because it pains them, they would stay away. I have a friend who absolutely despised the squirrels in her yard. They did damage not only to her plants, but to her house as well and ate her canvas chairs on the deck. She decided to buy an ultrasonic device and after the installation, it worked wonders! At this point in time, my friend is satisfied. As to the squirrels, they get to live another day.
Considerable harm can be brought about by gophers and moles on your garden, plants and shrubs. Your lawn will be ruined with all the bumps on the surface. It’s even dangerous to walk about because you might stumble or sprain your ankle. These burrowing rodents spend most of their time underground digging tunnels in your beautiful yard and tunneling ventilation shafts so they can have fresh air in their underground homes. A stretch of several miles and 2 to 5 feet deep, that is how their tunnels measure. Each family of these rodents can have as much as twelve babies and the only thing they are good at is digging. They are always on the go that is why their bodies do not accumulate fat, and that they only eat the amount that corresponds to their own body weight. Around forty pounds of food is eaten by a mole in a year. It is their routine – eat afterwards dig, then eat again, then dig again. Moles will eat worms, worms that aerate the soil, necessary for beautiful plants and a healthy growing environment. Plants are what the gophers eat, usually the roots and plant material.
Gophers do not often make tunnels on the surface but when they do, they do it more directly than moles do. Moles will make a small volcano like mound, and a gopher will make a more irregular, kidney bean shaped one. These little creatures thrive underground on healthy, lush, lawns. Tree roots, grains, grasses, shrubs and some of the vegetables such as carrots, peas and beans are often the target of gophers and moles to chew on. Even flowers like lilies, irises and tulips can’t escape their mouths. A mole’s favorite food are grubs, worms, and insects, but they also eat plant materials. Gophers though prefer plant materials that are succulent. Gophers, moles, voles, chipmunks, and woodchucks are very intelligent animals. These creatures are notorious in their elusion from our old ways of pest control such as traps, baits and poisons.
It’s plain to see that you have a gopher or mole in your backyard by how your garden looks like – full of mounds and tunnels and a lot of damage. I advocate life. I do not kill. The spiders at home, I don’t stomp on them, I put them out, and the snakes when I see one in the yard, I just remove them there and transfer near the lake (okay, you might think I’m CRAZY!). So, I wouldn’t recommend killing them to get rid of them, but trying one of the many alternative ultrasonic devices available.
